Prisoner

After a straight week of 100+ degree high's, I am starting to feel like a prisoner in my own home in the afternoons/evenings.

Usually after work, I go home, change and immediately head outdoors to hang out with Stoli; with Mark if he's home from work as well. But now when I get home, it's about 102 degrees out and doesn't even START to cool down until 7 or 8pm. That's way into dinner time and Stoli is just frantic to get outside by then. It's so depressing to watch him mope around until we can bear to be outside to let him swim for 30 minutes or so in the pond at the park.

I'm ready for it to be October. Or for my DH to build me that pool I keep dreaming of...
